LOCATION: SNOQUALMIE HALL ROOM 307 DATE/TIME: FRIDAY OCTOBER 26 2012 - 9:00AM - 4:00PM CAMPUS MAP: CLICK HERE FOR MAP
Edmonds Community College has been offering digital forensics training since 1999 - come see why so many students get this education from EdCC and why we typically have a waiting list to get in.
In addition to the seminar, you will have an opportunity to see our clean room environment where we repair hard drives - EdCC students have repaired drives and recovered data for several law enforcement agencies.
This seminar is designed for anyone interested in learning more about computer forensics/forensic computing. One does not need to be working in an information technology related field to attend. The focus for this one-of-a-kind course will be the various aspects of computer forensics, and what working in this exciting field actually entails.
You'll be taken through an actual computer forensics case as seen through the eyes of an expert, and you will become conversant in computer forensics terminology as well as gaining an understanding of what computer forensics experts actually do. As many computer forensics cases now involve Internet technologies, we will also be discussing some items that are normally overlooked as well as misinterpreted by many experts.
This seminar is popular and seats will go fast - we regularly have students who have traveled from out of state in attendance.
YOU WILL NEED TO PRINT AND BRING YOUR TICKET IN ORDER TO BE ADMITTED TO THIS EVENT. ONE TICKET PER PERSON.
